The English Program in Korea (EPIK) is a public school teaching programme run by the Korean Ministry of Education, placing English teachers in schools across South Korea to support English education and cultural exchange.
For the Fall 2026 intake, EPIK is seeking motivated, adaptable teachers to work in elementary, middle, or high schools nationwide. Teachers co-teach alongside Korean educators in a structured, supportive environment—making EPIK one of the most stable and respected teaching programmes in Asia.

What You’ll Do
Teach English in South Korean public schools
Co-teach with a Korean English teacher
Focus on speaking, listening, pronunciation, and communicative activities
Prepare engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
Participate in English camps or school activities when required
Act as a cultural ambassador inside and outside the classroom
No prior classroom teaching experience is required.

Hold a Bachelor’s degree (any subject) by Fall 2026

Monthly salary: approx. 2.3 – 2.7 million KRW (based on qualifications and location)
Free furnished housing or housing allowance
Paid vacation: approx. 26 working days + Korean national holidays
Entrance allowances (reimbursement after certain amount of contract has been finished)
Completion bonus & severance pay
Korean National Health Insurance
Pension contributions (UK nationals eligible for lump-sum refund)
Monday–Friday work schedule (no evenings, no weekends)
Paid orientation and ongoing in-country support
