Uzbekistan is opening its classrooms to native English speakers and highly qualified non-native educators who want their work to truly matter.

This is a ministry-led national education initiative, designed to raise the quality of English education across the country by connecting students with teachers who bring not only strong language skills, but also cultural awareness and real-world communication.

We are looking for educators who believe English teaching is about confidence, curiosity, and meaningful interaction.

Role Overview

This position is structured to support impact, collaboration, and work-life balance.

28-Hour Workweek

  • 20 hours of classroom co-teaching with local teachers
  • 6 hours dedicated to extracurricular activities
  • 2 hours supporting masterclasses and professional development for local teachers

This structure allows you to teach, mentor, and contribute to long-term teacher development.

Who We Are Looking For

We welcome applications from:

  • Native English speakers
  • Highly qualified non-native English speakers with strong credentials and near-native proficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Education, English, or a related field
  • C1 level English proficiency
  • If the Bachelors degree is not in Education or English, a TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA certification is mandatory
  • A genuine love for teaching and working with learners
  • Any level of teaching experience is welcome but experience is preferred.
     

    Preferred (but not mandatory)

  • Experience with IELTS teaching or exam preparation
  • Familiarity with Cambridge, IB, or other international curricula

Final Note

  • Salary ranges from USD 1,000 to USD 3,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and profile alignment.
