UKRAINE: Your help is needed

News

This is an appeal to educators around Europe who are willing to provide free activities and programmes (both online and offline) to children from Ukraine who have been relocated to any area of Europe.

Camp-IT is launching a portal where parents can locate offline and online activities and programmes for Ukrainian children.

A Message from Camp-IT

Currently we have over 50 teachers signed up in different capacities. There is no limit to the number of teachers we want, and no limit to what they can offer. It can be as minimal as 1 hour a week ESL teaching, or daily craft activities, or even an intensive course in any subject someone can offer. Honestly, any subject in any capacity is welcome, and fun activities/speaking clubs etc. will also be great. This will be on a volunteer basis, as we are providing these activities for free to those who need it the most right now. To sign up, people can get in touch with Dima through the above contact details, or get in touch with me on this email address. After initial contact, we will arrange with people directly how everything will work. The idea is that Ukrainian parents will log on to the system, find an activity they want their child to enroll in, and directly sign up from there. The platform is ready and we plan to launch as soon as possible, we're making the finishing touches now, and also need more teachers.

We hope to be able to share details of offline classes as well as online. These would be most useful in countries currently experiencing high numbers of Ukrainian refugees (namely Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania), so if anyone currently based there can offer that that would also be amazing!
